The sophisticated instrument generates alternating current, which creates eddy currents on the surface of the work-piece via the detection coil. Should there be surface defects or material discontinuities, the initial eddy current field is disrupted, altering the impedance of the detection coil. This advanced instrument adeptly processes the electrical signals of impedance changes from the measuring probe, ensuring precise and automatic defect detection.
