We are proud to introduce our Steel Hardness Tester from Nanjing Bokena Automation. This intelligent, semi-automatic hardness sorting system is specially designed for high-volume hardness verification of steel components sharing the same specification, heat treatment process, and material, serving as an essential quality control solution for heat treatment plants, fastener manufacturing, bearing production, and related industries.

Equipped with a precision hardness detection core and interchangeable probes supporting both Brinell and Rockwell scales, this system integrates stable signal processing and automatic sorting logic. It features a sorting accuracy of 20 HB (Brinell), with probe resolutions of 1 HB for Brinell testing and 0.1 HRC for Rockwell testing, ensuring reliable discrimination between acceptable and non-conforming parts. The system effectively identifies hardness deviations caused by improper quenching, insufficient tempering, material mixing, or surface decarburization.

The equipment operates at a detection speed of 1200 parts per hour, with manual feeding followed by fully automatic testing, sorting, and alarming. It runs on AC 220V plus or minus 10 percent at 50 Hz, requires compressed air of 5 to 8 kgf/cm2, and functions stably in temperatures from -10 to +40 deg C with relative humidity below 7.5 percent. The system automatically classifies workpieces into qualified and defective categories, triggers audio-visual alerts for non-conforming parts, and supports full data traceability for quality management.

Specification

The Steel Hardness Tester consists of 5 core modules to complete semi-automatic operation from manual feeding to automatic sorting:

1. Manual Feeding & Positioning Mechanism
Operators manually place workpieces onto the testing station. The fixture quickly positions parts of the same size and shape, ensuring consistent test orientation for high-throughput operation at 1200 parts per hour.

2. Automatic Hardness Detection Core
Equipped with interchangeable probes supporting Brinell (1 HB resolution) and Rockwell (0.1 HRC resolution), it delivers a sorting accuracy of 20 HB. The detection cycle is fully automatic once the part is in position.

3. Intelligent Signal Processing Unit
Digitally processes hardness signals in real time, comparing measured values against preset thresholds. It reliably identifies parts with hardness deviation caused by heat treatment errors or material mixing.

4. Automatic Sorting & Discharging Mechanism
After detection, the system automatically separates qualified and defective workpieces into different outlets without manual intervention, ensuring error-free classification.

5. Real-Time Alarm & Data Traceability Module
Triggers immediate audio-visual alerts when a non-conforming part is detected. All test results are permanently stored, and inspection reports can be generated for full quality traceability. The system operates on AC 220V at 50 Hz, 5 to 8 kgf/cm2 compressed air, from -10 to +40 deg C, and humidity below 7.5 percent.
