The magnetic field generated by these eddy currents directly influences the electrical impedance of the detection coil. Any surface defects or material discontinuities disrupt the original eddy current field, prompting a change in the coil's impedance. The instrument processes these electrical signal variations from the measuring probe, effortlessly achieving precise automatic defect detection.
